Undrafted college free agents are always a long shot to make the team, but it’s always interesting to see what each year’s crop has to offer. Azusa Pacific RB Terrell Watson was the darling of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, stealing everyone’s hearts and an MVP trophy and had scouts preaching that Watson is the best RB you’ve never heard of. Jake Smith should figure to make some noise as well. I watch a lot of Louisville football and Smith is a solid center who may just be able to sneak into an O-Line rotation that figures to see a lot of change here in the next season or two.
As far as Pryor goes, the Bengals could do a whole hell of a lot worse for a prospective backup QB. If the Bengals were to add Pryor, he would be a mobile backup with starting experience that has won games in the NFL (Well, about as much as you can win in Oakland, I guess). Pryor is familiar with coach Hue Jackson’s scheme and could probably adjust quickly, not to mention, Pryor will likely have a ton of immediate fan support from all you local Ohio State ‘fans’ out there. Could prove to be an interesting signing going into the 2015 season. Stay tuned.
